By Coach
There bus services which can be used free of charge by spectators across the Grand Prix Weekend. These services run from Ors vezet tere (Kerepesi ut) and Kerepes HEV station to Gate 3 at the Hungaroring. Please be aware that the drop-off point is an approximate 20 minute uphill walk from the circuit.
Due to the number of spectators, these services can be busy and we advise arriving as early as possible to avoid congestion.
By Train
The HEV train service operates from Ors Vezer Square to Mogyorod Station, from which the circuit is a 30 minute walk.
By Helicopter
Skip the queues and be dropped off within the grounds of the circuit, following a scenic 15 minute flight from the centre of Budapest! With a shuttle service provided to from the helicopter to the main entrance, you can arrive in style and in record breaking time before spending a day at the circuit.
Prices are subject to exchange rate fluctuations
This is the perfect addition for those wanting to make their visit to the circuit a bit more special. So whether it is a birthday, anniversary or a craving for the VIP lifestyle, book your helicopter transfer alongside your race weekend tickets.
Prices are per person between Budapest and the Circuit. If booking in a group of up to 4, 5 or 7 persons, please get in touch to discuss prices.
There is a shuttle bus service that connects the heliport and the paddock. It may take longer to get to the helicopter post race and therefore we advise giving yourself ample time to make the journey. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they are at the helipad 15 minutes before departure. Unfortunately, refunds nor replacement flights are given for missed departures.
By Taxi
6x6 Taxi (Phone: (+36-1) 666-6666) is usually the official partner to the Hungaroring and because of this will have access to the faster VIP road to the circuit. To avoid a wait, particularly after the race on Sunday, you may want to pre-book your taxi over the phone.
Taxi2000 (Phone: (+36-1) 200-0000) and City Taxi (Phone: (+36-1) 211-1111) are also popular taxi companies which operate in Budapest.
Walking
The circuit is 20km from the centre of Budapest and for those arriving by bicycle, a storage area will be in place at the front of the main entrance. Budapest is extremely bike friendly, however, expect the terrain to become more difficult as you leave the capital.
